This Earth Day, plant something...
Here's an action from the We Are What We Do movement:
Plants are amazing things. They take in stuff we don't like (carbon dioxide) and pump out stuff we do (oxygen).
But we get rid of these amazing things by the millions every year. In fact, 33 football fields of tree are cut down every minute world wide.
Planting a tree or a native bush will not only help redress the balance. It'll also encourage native wildlife back to the are. Not to mention that each tree will provide oxygen for 2 people for the rest of their lives.
On this Earth Day, lets work towards saving it. But lets also celebrate our planet and all that it has to offer.
Check out Earth Day Canada website for great tips and resources. Find their link under Eye-opening Links.
